“An expert in traditional woodworking with his carefully curated and respected woodworking hand tools, he exhibits inspirational skill and patience with any job put before him.  Of course, he is able to use all modern woodworking machines and tools and will use them when they are necessary but will always bow to the hand tools when it is responsible and economically feasible to do so.  Another thing that is hard to find in a tradesman and craftsman today is someone who will show up when they say they will and do the job they were hired to do.  Chris does this.

The last thing I will say about Chris, with regard to his capabilities is that it is rare to find a master craftsman who does not get impatient with questions and “how do I ….” but in my experience with Chris he never minds answering those questions”.

“A few months ago Christopher crafted a cutting board for me. The cutting board is made of white ash with two strips of black walnut. The finish that was placed on the board was completely organic and smelled amazing. The wood is very smooth and has beautifully rounded edges. Christopher even added feet on the bottom to keep it in place while I use it. It is functional and yet also elegant. I have been using this cutting board every day and is still in great condition. You can tell that Christopher cares about the items he crafts and works with you on how you would like your item to look. I am truly grateful to have his work in my home”.

“I commissioned this Civil War-styled “Soldier’s Box” for my living history impression and have owned it for a few years now. It still holds up and history buffs note its authentic design”.
